Vivo X300: The new generation of compact camera phones from Vivo revealed ahead of time
With just one day until its official launch in China, set for October 13, the complete specifications of the Vivo X300 have leaked through China Telecom and an internal confidential presentation.
This leak confirms Vivo’s ambitions to offer a compact, stylish, and powerful smartphone designed for high-end photography and mobile performance.
Vivo X300: A compact and refined design
The Vivo X300 (model V2509A) stands out as a premium smartphone in a compact format, measuring 150.57 x 71.92 x 7.95 mm and weighing just 190 g. It will be available in four attractive colors: Freedom Blue, Leisure Purple, Lucky Color, and Pure Black.

On the front, there’s a 6.31-inch BOE Q10+ OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (2640 x 1216 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, providing exemplary fluidity for both browsing and gaming.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 powers the device, supported by a 6,040 mAh battery. Vivo makes no compromises on battery life, providing ultra-fast wired charging of 90 W and wireless charging of 40 W. This configuration promises a perfect balance between raw performance and endurance.
Photography as the main selling point

The Vivo X300 is set to make a strong impact in photography. On the front, it features a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 camera with a 92° field of view for ultra-detailed selfies.
However, it’s the rear camera setup that truly impresses with a triple camera module:
- 200-megapixel Samsung HPB main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS)
- 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor
- 50-megapixel Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto lens, also equipped with OIS
This is all complemented by Vivo’s V3+ image processing chip, ensuring natural rendering, precise details, and dynamic light management. The camera supports focal lengths of 23 mm/50 mm and can even be paired with a Zeiss 2.35× teleconverter (sold separately).
High-end Software and Connectivity
The Vivo X300 will launch with Android 16, featuring the OriginOS 6 interface. Vivo includes a variety of technical enhancements designed for smoothness and stability:
- Universal signal amplifier 3.0
- 4 high-penetration Wi-Fi chips
- Dual stereo speakers
- x-axis linear motor
- Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display
- Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB 3.2 Gen 1
- IP68 certification (water and dust resistant)

Configurations and Launch
The Vivo X300 will be available starting October 17 in multiple memory configurations: 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB, 16 GB + 256 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB, and 16 GB + 1 TB. A comprehensive range that will allow Vivo to appeal to both photography enthusiasts and demanding users looking for a high-end compact device.
While these details are well-sourced, they still come from leaks. Some data may change before the official presentation on October 13.
One thing is certain: with its 200-megapixel main sensor, MediaTek power, and compact design, the Vivo X300 is poised to be one of the most balanced smartphones by the end of 2025.
