Alongside its new smartphones, the vivo X300 and vivo X300 Pro, Vivo has officially introduced the vivo Pad 5e, an Android tablet that aims to be a more accessible alternative compared to the vivo Pad 5 and vivo Pad 5 Pro, without compromising on power.

Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Up To 16 GB of RAM

The vivo Pad 5e immediately stands out in the lineup as the only tablet featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, a high-end SoC manufactured with 4 nm technology, already powering several flagship Android devices.

It is available with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage, ensuring robust performance for productivity, multitasking, and gaming.

For gaming sessions, Vivo has incorporated a 32,200 mm² graphite cooling system, along with a Game Live Assistant mode that dynamically adjusts performance and streaming quality.

A Large 2.8K Anti-Glare Screen

The tablet features a 12.05-inch LCD display with a 7.1:5 aspect ratio, boasting a 2.8K resolution (2800 × 1968 pixels), a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and calibrated brightness to reduce eye strain.

The Soft Light Edition adds anti-glare treatment designed to reduce glare, especially during outdoor use. The screen covers 1.07 billion colors, offers a contrast ratio of 1400:1, and provides a touch sampling rate of up to 240 Hz.

In terms of design, the vivo Pad 5e remains thin and lightweight: 6.62 mm thick (or 6.69 mm for the Soft Light) and weighs between 584 to 591 g depending on the variant.

Battery Life and Fast Charging

Under the hood, it houses a 10,000 mAh battery that supports 44 W fast charging. According to Vivo, this capacity provides over a day’s worth of sustained usage for browsing, streaming, and productivity.

In terms of photography, the vivo Pad 5e is modest but functional:

Front camera: 5 megapixels for video calls and portrait mode

Both cameras support 1080p video and features such as document scanning and night mode.

The tablet is also equipped with four speakers, supports USB-C audio, and offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity.

The vivo Pad 5e runs on Android 15 with OriginOS 5 for tablets, featuring advanced functionalities:
