Oppo Find X9 Ultra launches in Europe in early 2026

Things are heating up at OPPO. After several months of speculation, a recent leak indicates that the Find X9 Ultra, OPPO’s upcoming flagship smartphone, will launch internationally by the end of the first quarter of 2026.

This assertion comes from well-known leaker Yogesh Brar on X.

Find X9 Ultra: An Unprecedented Worldwide Release for OPPO’s “Ultra” Model

Traditionally, OPPO has reserved its Ultra models for the Chinese market, offering only the standard and Pro versions of its flagship Find X series internationally.

However, if this leak is validated, the Find X9 Ultra could be the first Ultra model to hit European and Indian markets — a strategic move that would position OPPO against Samsung and Xiaomi in the premium smartphone segment.

Brar mentions that the launch in India will depend on the commercial success of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, which are set to debut in the country this month.

Expected Specifications of the Find X9 Ultra

Rumors suggest that the Find X9 Ultra will feature top-of-the-line specifications:

  • Display: 6.8-inch 2K OLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate and integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensor
  • Processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
  • Battery: Approximately 7,000 mAh
  • Charging: 80 W wired and 50 W wireless
  • Operating System: ColorOS 16 based on Android 16

Camera module (rumored):

  • Main sensor: 200-megapixel Sony IMX09E with OIS
  • Ultra-wide: 50 megapixels
  • Periscope telephoto: two 50-megapixel sensors
  • Front camera: 50 megapixels

Some reports even mention the inclusion of a multispectral sensor to enhance color accuracy — technology that would further bolster OPPO’s reputation in mobile photography.

A Beast of Endurance and Power

With a 7,000 mAh battery, OPPO appears to target long-lasting performance while maintaining rapid and efficient charging.

This would be a significant advantage against its direct competitors:

  • Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, expected in March 2026,
  • vivo X300 Ultra, anticipated for a similar global launch,
  • and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, also in development.

Intense Competition for Samsung

If the Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra are indeed launched globally, Samsung will no longer have a free hand in the “ultra-premium” segment.

Especially since the Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to retain a similar specifications sheet to the S25 Ultra, with only minor optimizations on the telephoto sensor and rapid charging. This sets the stage for an upcoming showdown of Android giants in early 2026.

The international arrival of the Find X9 Ultra would mark a turning point for OPPO. After years of limiting its Ultra models to the Chinese market, the brand seems ready to compete directly with Samsung and Vivo on the global stage.

If the promises of performance, battery life, and especially photography hold true, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may finally face a true competitor among Android devices.
