OPPO Find X9 launches in Europe: €999 for a flagship with 7,025 mAh battery
Following its launch in China, OPPO officially unveils the Find X9 for the international market. This new model features a refined design, an ultra-bright display, and a photography system developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, showcasing the brand’s premium ambitions.
Display and Design: Thin and Durable
The Find X9 boasts a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2760 × 1256 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and an impressive peak brightness of 3,600 nits. Thanks to the 3,840 Hz PWM dimming, visual fatigue is minimized even in low light conditions.
In terms of design, OPPO chooses a flat aluminum frame and a matte glass back available in two colors: Titanium Gray and Stellar Black. The smartphone is rated IP66, IP68, and IP69, ensuring complete protection against dust, splashes, and high-pressure water jets.
Photography: Highlighting the Hasselblad Master Camera System
As a result of the collaboration with Hasselblad, the Hasselblad Master Camera System equips the Find X9 with three 50-megapixel sensors:
- a primary Sony LYT-808 (1/1.4”) sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, capable of capturing 57% more light for more detailed night shots,
- a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with autofocus, also usable for macro photography,
- a periscope telephoto 50-megapixel sensor based on the Sony LYT600, offering precise optical zoom.
A 2-megapixel True Color sensor complements the module to analyze ambient light and ensure accurate color reproduction.
The LUMO Image Engine optimizes clarity and tone while consuming 50% less CPU energy. It automatically adjusts the resolution between 50 megapixels, 25 megapixels, and 12 megapixels based on lighting conditions to balance sharpness and noise reduction.
Performance and Battery Life: Balancing Power and Endurance
Under the hood, the Find X9 features the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, a 3nm chip that offers 32% more CPU performance while reducing peak consumption by 55%. For graphics, the Arm G1 Ultra GPU has a 33% improvement, aided by a vapor chamber cooling system to maintain stable performance over time.
The device is powered by a 7,025 mAh battery packed into a body just 7.99 mm thick. Thanks to the third-generation Silicon-Carbon technology, the battery retains 80% of its capacity after five years.
Charging options are top-notch: 80W SUPERVOOC wired, 50W AIRVOOC wireless, and 10W reverse charging.
Software and Connected Functions
The smartphone runs ColorOS 16 (Android 16), incorporating OPPO’s new AI functions such as AI Mind Space, AI Recorder, and AI Portrait Glow.
The O+ Connect tool enhances continuity between devices: cross-control with Windows and Mac, screen mirroring, and remote file access.
Price and Availability
The OPPO Find X9 will be sold for €999 for the 12 GB + 512 GB version. Global sales will commence in early November 2025, coinciding with the simultaneous launch of the Find X9 Pro.
