Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro: global certification and launch expected at the end of October

OPPO Find X9 and Find X9 Pro: global certification and expected launch by the end of October

The battle for the first smartphones powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 is about to begin. While Vivo will unveil its Vivo X300 series on October 13 in China, OPPO is set to introduce its Find X9 series on October 16.

However, globally, OPPO appears to have the upper hand as the Find X9 series has already received several international certifications, indicating a looming launch.

OPPO Find X9 and X9 Pro Certified in Thailand and Beyond

The OPPO Find X9 (CPH2797) and Find X9 Pro (CPH2791) have received NBTC certification in Thailand. This is a crucial milestone that contributes to a growing list of approvals that have been identified: GCF (Global Certification Forum), BIS (India), IMDA (Singapore), SDPPI (Indonesia), and more recently, SIRIM in Malaysia.

It’s worth noting that the Find X9 Pro has also made an appearance on Geekbench, showcasing its raw performance, while the Find X9 was spotted in the SIRIM database.

The SIRIM in Malaysia has not only stopped at the smartphones. It has also certified the OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro earbuds and the OPPO Watch S smartwatch. This suggests that these accessories will likely be introduced alongside the Find X9 series during the global launch.

Global Launch Confirmed for Late October

OPPO has already confirmed that the Find X9 will be available internationally, although the exact date had not been officially announced. According to a recent report, the global unveiling is set for October 28, 2025. This would give the brand an advantage over Vivo, whose X300 series is expected to hit international markets only in November.

With certification now achieved in several countries, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro appear prepared to enter global markets. As some of the first smartphones to incorporate the Dimensity 9500, OPPO strategically positions itself ahead of Vivo, which plans to launch its X300 shortly thereafter.

Additionally, with accessories like the Enco Air 5 Pro and the Watch S in the mix, OPPO is clearly preparing a comprehensive ecosystem aimed at attracting high-end users. The end of October will mark a pivotal moment in the new generation of Android flagships.
