Meta Launches Vibes: A New Platform for Short Videos Generated by AI
Meta continues to expand its ecosystem of creative tools powered by artificial intelligence with the official launch of Vibes, a new feature integrated into the Meta AI app and accessible via meta.ai.
The aim is to enable everyone to create, remix, and share short videos generated by AI, similar to Reels or TikTok… but with a touch of artificial intelligence. Indeed, unlike TikTok or Instagram Reels, it features only AI-generated content.
This feed will showcase short videos generated by AI, created by Meta AI users and other creators. As with Instagram Reels, you’ll be able to start watching videos based on your preferences.
What Is Vibes?
Designed as an interactive creative laboratory, Vibes offers a personalized feed of AI-generated visual experiences. Users can discover videos created by others or remix them with just a few clicks.

You can:
- Start from scratch with a prompt or idea.
- Use an existing video from the Vibes feed.
- Remix an AI video from Instagram with one click via the Meta AI app.

Share Easily
Once your video is ready, you can:
- Publish it in Vibes
- Send it as a private message to your friends
- Share it on Instagram and Facebook Stories or Reels
A Collaboration with Midjourney and Black Forest Labs
For this initial version of Vibes, Meta has partnered with key players in the creative AI scene like Midjourney and Black Forest Labs, while continuing to develop its own video generation models.
Mark Zuckerberg presented Vibes as a glimpse into the future direction of Meta’s consumer AI products, where creativity and personalization will be at the core of the experience.
In addition to Vibes, the Meta AI app also allows users to:
- Manage your Meta smart glasses (Ray-Ban Meta)
- Capture memories via photos/videos with AI
- Access Meta AI Assistant to help you create, brainstorm ideas, or organize your thoughts
