Honor Watch X5: Large AMOLED Screen, 5-System GPS, and 14-Day Battery Life for €55
Honor expands its wearable lineup with the Honor Watch X5, an affordable yet surprisingly feature-rich model, set to be unveiled alongside the Honor 500 series on November 24 in China.
With a sleek design, multi-system GPS, and advanced health tracking, this watch is clearly aimed at active users—without breaking the bank.
Honor Watch X5: A Slim, Lightweight Watch Designed for Everyday Use
The Honor Watch X5 features a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with rounded rectangular format, surrounded by just 1.8mm bezels. With an 82% screen-to-body ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate, the interface offers enhanced fluidity and visual comfort. It also includes an always-on display (AOD) and a wide range of watch faces available through the Honor Health app.
The aluminum alloy chassis keeps the weight to just 29 grams, with a thickness of 9.99mm—making it a compact design that feels unobtrusive on the wrist. A rotating stainless steel crown ensures smooth navigation, while the quick-release silicone bands allow for effortless style changes.
Independent GPS and Enhanced Outdoor Sensors
Designed for outdoor activities, the Honor Watch X5 features an upgraded barometer, a digital compass, and an independent GPS compatible with five satellite systems: BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS, ensuring precise route tracking even in challenging conditions.
The watch is certified to 5 ATM and IP68 standards, making it durable enough for swimming or humid environments.
Health, Sport, and AI: Comprehensive Tracking
In terms of wellness, Honor offers a complete suite:
- Continuous heart rate monitoring,
- SpO₂ measurement,
- Detailed sleep analysis,
- Women’s cycle tracking,
- Over 120 sports modes.
Furthermore, it features an AI-assisted weight management program developed in collaboration with several Chinese universities, which tailors recommendations based on user progress.

Bluetooth Calls, NFC, and Incredible Battery Life
The Honor Watch X5 isn’t just focused on fitness; it also supports bidirectional Bluetooth calls, offline NFC payments, camera control, media control, SOS calling, Do Not Disturb mode, and even some built-in mini-games.
Battery life reaches 14 days with regular use, or around 5 days with the always-on display activated—an impressive performance for a smartwatch at this price point.

Already available in China, the Honor Watch X5 will be officially introduced at the Honor event on November 24, 2025. Announced price: 449 CNY, approximately €55—a competitive price for such a comprehensive smartwatch.
