Honor launches MagicOS 10: an AI self-evolving and interconnected operating system
During the launch of its Magic 8 series in China, Honor introduced MagicOS 10, its new software platform based on artificial intelligence. This new version is built on Android 16.
Designed as a self-evolving ecosystem, MagicOS 10 transforms Honor devices into truly intelligent companions that can learn, take action, and interact seamlessly across various terminals — including those from other brands like Apple.
MagicOS 10: An AI Self-Evolving Platform
At the core of MagicOS 10 is YOYO, a self-evolving intelligent agent that serves as a universal assistant: a companion for shopping, health, work, travel, or leisure.
With 8 cutting-edge AI technologies, YOYO covers over 3,000 everyday scenarios.
YOYO Vision & Execution
- YOYO Vision: recognizes and interprets the environment visually through multimodal understanding (text, image, sound, gesture).
- YOYO Execution: orchestrates actions relying on an advanced intelligence engine to autonomously perform tasks.

A dedicated AI button allows for instant activation of YOYO: a long press launches visual recognition, intelligent video calls, or direct interaction with compatible applications.
An AI Based on the Magic Big Model 3.0
The system relies on the Honor Magic Big Model 3.0, an AI architecture that combines cloud computing and local processing. This approach enables YOYO to manage multimodal understanding, task planning, and the use of third-party tools.
Honor indicates that YOYO has received the L3 Excellence certification from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, confirming its advanced generalization and reasoning capabilities in the Chinese market.
MCP Architecture and Unlimited Connectivity
The new MCP (Magic Collaborative Platform) architecture links over 80% of frequent system scenarios to more than 4,000 intelligent agents and third-party ecosystems.
The result: the system can automatically execute over 3,000 tasks, from intelligent file sorting to itinerary planning.
Multi-Brand and Multi-Device Interconnection
With Boundless Intelligent Connection, MagicOS 10 transcends the boundaries of the Honor ecosystem. Devices can now connect seamlessly with others from different brands, including HarmonyOS and iOS.
Examples of integration:
- Tap-to-Transfer: instant transfer of files, photos, contacts, or events between an Honor device, an iPhone, and a Mac.
- Apple Sync: display of HONOR notifications on Apple Watch or Mac, synchronization of verification codes.
- Universal Interoperability: TVs, smartphones, and PCs (across all brands) can communicate via the HONOR trust circle.
User Experience and AI Security

MagicOS 10 introduces a transparent and dynamic interface, featuring a youthful and clean design. The user experience is enhanced by intelligent haptic effects and smooth transitions to reinforce the sense of immersion.
New UI and security features:
- Magic Lock Screen & Clock: cinematic lock screen with an adaptable smart clock.
- AI Screenshot: recognition of captured content and contextual action suggestions.
- AI Call Anti-Fraud: detection of fraudulent calls, synthetic voices, or imitations.
- Honor Portal: quick access to all applications and services in a single gesture.

Continuous Evolution: The MagicOS Monthly Renewal Plan
Honor introduces an unprecedented software maintenance model: the MagicOS monthly renewal plan. Through ongoing OTA updates, the system continually improves, directly integrating user feedback.
A “living” approach that breaks away from the traditional model where a device stops evolving after leaving the factory.
Gradual Deployment of MagicOS 10
Honor plans a staggered rollout of MagicOS 10 for its smartphones, tablets, and foldables, from October 2025 to early 2026.
Time Frame | Devices Included |

With MagicOS 10, Honor is taking a strategic leap. By transforming its operating system into an adaptive, interconnected, and sustainable AI platform, the brand positions itself as a major player in “smart computing,” competing with Apple, Samsung, and Huawei.
MagicOS 10 is no longer just an Android overlay — it’s a living ecosystem designed to evolve with its users.
