Google Takes Care of Your Vacation Itinerary with Canvas
Imagine being able to describe your ideal vacation in just one sentence, and then having AI create a complete, detailed, and real-time modifiable plan for you. That’s exactly what Canvas for Travel offers, integrated into Google’s AI search mode.
Canvas immediately formulates a personalized itinerary, combining real-time data from Google Flights and Hotels.com, along with reviews and photos from Google Maps and relevant information gathered from the web.
This way, you can easily compare which hotel has the best reviews for breakfast or which one has the pool your kids will love. Plus, if your flight dates change, you can simply ask the AI to update your entire plan.

To help reduce the cost of your vacation, Google is introducing Flight Deals. After initial testing in a few countries, this feature is now available in over 200 countries and supports more than 60 languages. The AI instantly analyzes your preferences, budget, and dates, suggesting destinations you may not have considered.
Additionally, another significant update is the extended booking assistance AI. Currently being rolled out to users in the United States, this feature starts with restaurants. You simply describe what you need, and the AI connects to platforms like OpenTable, Resy, and Tock to check real-time availability and provide a selection of options with immediate booking links. Soon, this capability will also expand to booking flights and hotels, with Google already collaborating with major players like Expedia, Marriott, and Booking.com.
