Bluesky: Truly Private Favorites
Named ‘Saved Posts’, this new feature follows a well-known principle on platforms like X or Threads: saving content to revisit later by clicking a small bookmark icon under each post.
Unlike the previous system of public “pins,” your saved posts will only be visible to you, not the entire community.

Previously, users had to resort to a workaround: commenting with a 📌 emoji on the posts they wanted to keep in a special thread. While useful, it was far from discreet. With the Saved Posts feature, there’s no need for such hacks anymore.

Bluesky Continues to Expand its Features
This update adds to a long list of new features:
- Videos up to 3 minutes long,
- Enhanced private messaging,
- A free verification system using official documents,
- A broader social experience built on the AT protocol, which distinguishes Bluesky from its competitors.
A Platform in Full Maturation
With regular updates, Bluesky is positioning itself as a serious alternative to X. The addition of private favorites has been a long-standing request, showcasing that the team continues to listen to its community.
