Adobe Premiere launches finally on iPhone and iPad — in a nearly complete and free version
Adobe makes a powerful move: the company recently announced the release of Adobe Premiere on mobile, a free app for iPhone and iPad that closely resembles the professional desktop version rather than Premiere Rush, its “lite” counterpart.
This means you can now edit 4K HDR videos, perform frame-precise cuts, and even instantly remove backgrounds… all from your smartphone.
Adobe Premiere: Professional Editing and Integrated AI
Key features include:
- Enhance Speech, which automatically cleans up your recordings and ensures voiceovers are crystal clear.
- Generative sound effects that allow you to hum or record a voice to create unique sound designs.
- Firefly templates enable you to create stickers, images, and video transitions directly from text, along with AI Background Expansion to extend or replace backgrounds.
The app is free, but some AI features require paid credits once the initial free quota is exhausted.
Designed for Mobile Creators
Great news: there are no watermarks on exports, and the app features a clean interface suitable for both iPhone and iPad. It also includes an automatic resizing feature for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, etc.
