The Dimensity 8400/8450 promises solid mid-range/high-end performance, offering a good balance between power and energy efficiency. The Reno 15 also focuses on compactness with a smaller screen than the Reno 15 Pro, catering to users who prefer a thin and lightweight smartphone.
Its aluminum chassis and weight of just 187 g reflect a premium design, consistent with the aesthetic philosophy of the Reno series.
A High-End Camera
The 200-megapixel main sensor, likely supplied by Samsung (HP5), is set to be the standout feature of this model.
Combined with two 50-megapixel sensors (ultra-wide and telephoto), the Reno 15 could rival some flagship models in photography.
At the front, the 50-megapixel camera underscores the smartphone’s focus on high-definition selfies and content creation.
With a 6,200 mAh battery, the Reno 15 is expected to outlast most models in its category in terms of endurance. The 80 W (wired) and 50 W (wireless) fast charging—borrowed from the Reno 14 Pro—should allow a full charge in under 30 minutes, according to estimates.
System and Interface
The smartphone will come with Android 16 and ColorOS 16, the latest version of OPPO’s interface. It incorporates new generative AI functions, energy optimizations, and better integration with the O+ Connect ecosystem (watches, tablets, and PCs).
Reno 15 Pro and Variants
According to available information, the Reno 15 Pro will feature a larger 6.78-inch display, the same Dimensity 8450 SoC, and a slightly larger battery (6,300 mAh). A third variant with a 6.59-inch display is also in the works, but its commercial name remains unknown—possibly Reno 15c.
The official announcement will take place on November 17, 2025, in China, with a potential global launch in early 2026. Pre-orders are already open on OPPO’s website in China, confirming the four mentioned colors.
OPPO seems to be betting on stability and finish rather than revolution. If the price remains reasonable, the Reno 15 could very well become one of the best design/performance ratios in the accessible premium segment.
