Mistral AI Studio: the new platform for creating and deploying AI agents without coding
The French AI leader Mistral AI has reached a significant milestone with the launch of Mistral AI Studio, a web platform that enables businesses to design, monitor, and deploy AI applications in just minutes.
This new environment replaces “The Platform,” launched at the end of 2023, offering a more comprehensive and production-oriented version.

Mistral’s AI Studio aims to be a turnkey solution for businesses: a unified space where teams can create agents, test models, monitor performance, and deploy them without relying on technical experts.
The goal? To bridge the gap between prototype and production while ensuring security, observability, and governance at every stage.
The platform is built on three pillars:
- Observability: real-time tracking of model behavior, dashboards, and complete traceability of datasets and prompts.
- Agent Runtime: a robust execution environment compatible with complex workflows and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) integrations.
- AI Registry: centralized management of models, datasets, judges, and tools, with versioning and access control.
A Rich and Modular Model Catalog
Mistral provides a vast catalog of models—both proprietary and open source—covering text, code, audio, and images.
Among them:
- Mistral Large / Medium / Small / Tiny (closed, via API),
- Open Mistral 7B and Mixtral 8×7B/8×22B (open-weight, Apache 2.0),
- Pixtral (multimodal text-image),
- Voxtral (audio transcription),
- Codestral (code generation),
- and a moderation model based on Ministral 8B.
