Adobe: A Strategic Partnership with YouTube and Google Cloud for AI

At Adobe MAX 2025, Adobe announced two major partnerships with YouTube and Google Cloud, aimed at streamlining creative workflows and making generative AI tools more accessible to creators and businesses alike.

These collaborations combine Adobe’s creative ecosystem, the global reach of YouTube’s platform, and Google’s advanced AI models to provide new ways to produce, edit, and publish content.

Create and Publish Directly on YouTube Shorts from Premiere Mobile

Adobe and YouTube are launching an integrated “Create for YouTube Shorts” space within the Adobe Premiere mobile app. Users will now be able to edit and share their videos directly on YouTube Shorts without leaving the app.

This integration aims to simplify the creation of short formats while offering professional-grade tools optimized for mobile use.

New features include:

  • Exclusive effects, transitions, and pre-defined title templates
  • Customizable templates for quick editing
  • Generative sound effects and AI functions based on Firefly
  • Direct one-click publication to YouTube Shorts

This is a significant advancement for mobile content creators, allowing them to produce dynamic videos using Adobe’s editing tools, all within the YouTube ecosystem.

Adobe × Google Cloud Strategic Partnership: Creativity Powered by AI

Adobe has also officially extended its partnership with Google Cloud, integrating Google’s advanced AI models — Gemini, Veo, and Imagen — into its main applications. The goal is to enhance the accuracy, speed, and quality of AI-generated creations.

Key areas of collaboration include:

  • Direct integration of Google models into Firefly, Photoshop, Express, Premiere, and GenStudio
  • Customization of models for businesses via Adobe Firefly Foundry on Vertex AI, enabling bespoke content generation from proprietary data
  • Joint commercial initiatives to democratize these tools on a global scale
  • Ongoing innovation with collaborative work on future AI technologies for professional workflows

Availability

The Create for YouTube Shorts feature will be available soon in Premiere mobile, through the “Edit in Adobe Premiere” option integrated into YouTube Shorts.

The integration of Google Cloud’s AI models into Firefly, Express, Photoshop, Premiere, and GenStudio will be gradually rolled out to Creative Cloud users and enterprise clients worldwide.
