Introducing the OnePlus Ace 6: A Powerhouse for Gamers

Alongside the new OnePlus 15, OnePlus unveiled in China its OnePlus Ace 6, a smartphone designed for mobile gaming and extreme performance. It occupies the market just below the flagship model and will be launched internationally as the OnePlus 15R.

The OnePlus Ace 6 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display (2800 × 1272 pixels) with adaptive refresh rates of 60/90/120/144/165 Hz. The screen offers a maximum brightness of 1,800 nits, full DCI-P3 coverage, and a 10-bit color depth.

It also incorporates the “Bright Eye Protection” eye safety technology, certified with the “Little Gold Label,” along with low-frequency PWM, a night reading mode, a full sunlight mode, and automatic color temperature adjustments.

OnePlus Ace 6: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Advanced Gaming Architecture

Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (fabricated in 3 nm) and the Adreno 830 GPU, supported by up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. OnePlus has integrated the WindChaser Gaming Engine, which synchronizes the CPU, GPU, and NPU to maintain a stable refresh rate of 165 frames per second.

A triple eSports system complements the setup, consisting of a dedicated performance chip, a G2 network chip, and a Lingxi touch chip that reduces latency and improves image stability.

The phone also features Touch & Display Sync for improved touch accuracy and an enhanced Pro Gyroscope for stable aiming.

Robust Design and Premium Finishes

The OnePlus Ace 6 adopts the “Metal Cube” design from the OnePlus 15, featuring a metal chassis, micro-gradient glass, and full certification IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K for dust and water resistance.

It also incorporates an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, a high-performance X-axis vibrator, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, NFC, and an infrared sensor.

For photography, it includes a main Sony IMX906 sensor of 50 megapixels (f/1.8) with OIS and EIS, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens (112°). The smartphone can record up to 4K at 60 fps, while the 16-megapixel front camera allows 1080p recording at 30 fps.

Massive Battery and Ultra-Fast Charging

The OnePlus Ace 6 houses a 7,800 mAh dual-cell battery, compatible with 120 W SuperVOOC fast charging.

OnePlus guarantees charging times of:

  • 50% in 16 minutes,
  • 100% in 43 minutes,
  • or 3.3 hours of gaming with just 10 minutes of charge.

The device also features Bypass Power, which directly powers the system without heating the battery during gaming, along with support for UFCS, PPS, PD, and QC.

Cutting-Edge Connectivity

The OnePlus Ace 6 boasts: dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 with LHDC 5.0, NFC, and a USB-C port. Available in Competitive Black, Flash White, and Quick Silver, the OnePlus Ace 6 combines elegance and sturdiness.

The 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage version is priced at 2,599 ¥, approximately 315 euros. Pre-orders are open in China, with sales set to start on October 30.

The global launch is anticipated in the coming weeks under the name OnePlus 15R, featuring photo enhancements compared to the Chinese version.
