HyperOS 3 makes its debut with an initial deployment phase in Europe. The official account on X of the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed that the update is arriving on smartphones in the Old Continent after an exclusive availability in China.
HyperOS 3 is a major update featuring numerous new elements, particularly in the realm of AI. The interface closely resembles iOS 26 with Liquid Glass, which may appeal to certain users. Good news for those in Europe, as the deployment begins with an initial phase. The Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro are the first models to receive this update.

While many Xiaomi smartphones will not receive HyperOS 3, owners of the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro are pleased. The update is finally available with firmware OS3.0.3.0.WOEEUXM for the Xiaomi 15T and OS3.0.4.0.WOSEUXM for the Xiaomi 15T Pro.

The deployment is happening in waves, which means not all European users will receive HyperOS 3 immediately; notifications will arrive gradually. If you own one of these two smartphones, you can check for availability in the settings without waiting for the notification. It’s important to note that this update is based on Android 16, the latest version of Google’s operating system.
Xiaomi continues its efforts in software support for its smartphones, with the first models already identified for future updates to Android 19 and Android 20. The overlay based on Android 16 significantly modifies the interface. For instance, the icons for battery level and network have received a more modern design.
What new features with the HyperOS 3 update?
The update also includes blur effects during transitions between applications and animations that accompany interactions. HyperIsland is one of the biggest novelties of HyperOS 3. This feature directly takes inspiration from Apple’s Dynamic Island, found on their latest iPhones.
It consists of a dynamic area that intelligently consolidates notifications and relevant information. Instead of displaying them on the screen, they are shown on a bar. Additionally, beyond the features and novelties, Xiaomi explains that HyperOS benefits from optimizations that result in a 30% performance improvement.
Smartphones running on Android 16 are therefore more responsive with enhanced resource management that boosts battery life. Among the benefits are applications that load much faster and improved stability during multitasking. AI plays a strategic role with HyperOS 3, and Xiaomi has already planned numerous innovations in this technology for future updates following Android 16.
