OPPO simplifies Reno 15 lineup ahead of launch with only two models
OPPO is currently preparing its next generation of mid-range smartphones, the Reno 15 series. However, according to a recent leak, the Chinese manufacturer has opted to streamline its lineup even before the official launch.
According to reputable leaker Digital Chat Station, the 6.59-inch model initially referred to as the Reno 15 Pro has been dropped.
OPPO is now focusing on only two versions:
- the standard Reno 15,
- and the Reno 15 Pro, which would actually correspond to the previous “Pro Max”.

Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro: Expected Technical Specifications
OPPO Reno 15
Here are the expected specifications for the OPPO Reno 15:
- Screen: 6.32 inches, 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate
- Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 8450
- Cameras:
- Main: 200 megapixels (HP5)
- Ultra-wide: 50 megapixels
- Periscope Telephoto: 50 megapixels
- Front Camera: 50 megapixels
- Battery: 6,500 mAh
- Other: Under-display fingerprint sensor, metal frame, IP68/IP69 certification
OPPO Reno 15 Pro
The Pro model would share the same technical foundation but will feature:
- A larger 6.78-inch screen,
- And 50 W wireless charging, absent from the standard model.
A Streamlined Range
This new strategy could allow OPPO to better differentiate its models while reducing production costs. However, the choice of the Dimensity 8450 for both versions contradicts previous rumors that suggested a Dimensity 9400 for the higher-end version.
If these details are confirmed, the Reno 15 series could offer an excellent performance-to-price ratio, while maintaining a premium design and impressive camera setup for the segment.
An official launch is expected by the end of 2025 in China, followed by an international release in 2026.
