Introducing the Realme GT8: A Powerful, Stylish, and Enduring Smartphone That Captures the Photo DNA of the Pro Model
Alongside the Realme GT8 Pro, Realme has officially launched the standard Realme GT8 in China, a model that is anything but “basic.” While it lacks the interchangeable camera module system of the Pro, it still boasts the prestigious Ricoh GR collaboration, ensuring refined photography and a distinctive visual identity.
Photography: The Spirit of Ricoh GR On Board
The Realme GT8 features five Ricoh GR film tones, customizable focal lengths (28 mm and 40 mm), and even the “GR-style” shutter sound for enthusiasts.
On the hardware front, it includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 7P Ricoh lens with anti-reflective coating, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom.
For selfies, it sports a 16-megapixel front camera.

Three Premium Finishes
The Realme GT8 comes in three color options:
- Classic White, featuring anti-smudge frosted AG glass,
- Navy Blue, with a frosted effect that changes with the light,
- Oxygen Green, with a back made of recycled leather that has a “paper” texture.

Each variant offers a distinct tactile experience, following Realme’s commitment to meticulous design.
Snapdragon 8 Elite and Ultra Bright 2K Display
Under the hood, the Realme GT8 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. A dedicated R1 graphics processor enhances gaming performance, supported by a 7,000 mm² VC cooling system.
The display is a 6.79-inch BOE OLED Q10+ panel, boasting a 2K resolution, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and an impressive brightness level of 7,000 nits—identical to that of the GT8 Pro.
A “Titan” 7,000 mAh Battery and 100 W Charging
The Realme GT8 includes a massive 7,000 mAh battery that supports 100 W wired charging. Realme claims it features a 15% silicon composition for improved density and longevity. The smartphone also meets all resistance standards: IP68, IP69, and IP66.
The Realme GT8 runs on Android 16 with Realme UI 7, supporting Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, dual stereo speakers, and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
