Launch of the OPPO Find X9 and X9 Pro: Power, Record Battery Life, and Strengthened Hasselblad Partnership
Just days after the unveiling of the vivo X300 series, OPPO has introduced its new flagship devices: the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. Unveiled in China, these premium smartphones focus on massive batteries, a renewed partnership with Hasselblad, and a design that reflects their high ambitions.
A global launch event is set for October 28th in Barcelona.
MediaTek Dimensity 9500: Power Meets Efficiency
Both models debut the Dimensity 9500, MediaTek’s latest flagship processor, built on a 3nm process. This chip promises flagship-level performance while minimizing energy consumption.
The Find X9 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, while the Find X9 has a slightly smaller 6.59-inch screen, both boasting ultra-thin symmetrical bezels of just 1.15mm.
These smartphones run on ColorOS 16, OPPO’s new UI based on Android 16, offering smoother animations, extensive AI integration, iOS-inspired lock screen customization options, and improved interoperability with Windows and macOS.
The Return of Hasselblad: Exceptional Photography and Custom Optics
Unlike OnePlus, OPPO continues its collaboration with Hasselblad. The Find X9 Pro features a camera system co-developed with the Swedish brand, including a 200-megapixel telephoto sensor.
This module, tuned by Hasselblad, includes exclusive color calibration settings, specialized filters, and an ultra-wide XPan mode inspired by the brand’s iconic photo format.
One of the standout features is an external telephoto lens branded by Hasselblad, available as an accessory, providing 3.28x optical zoom, extendable up to 10x, while maintaining sharpness. The kit includes a magnetic grip, a light ring, and a mounting case — at least for the Chinese variant.
On the Video Front
The Find X9 and X9 Pro provide professional-level video capabilities:
- 4K at 120 fps,
- Dolby Vision HDR,
- LOG recording with ACES support,
- and new shooting modes like Stage Mode and AI Sound Focus, designed for concerts and live events.
A Titan Battery Thanks to Silicon-Carbon Technology
The Find X9 series utilizes silicon-carbon technology, already adopted by Xiaomi and Honor, allowing for the integration of massive batteries without增加 the thickness of the chassis.

OPPO promises up to two days of battery life on a single charge. In a positive twist, unlike some competitors, the brand will not reduce battery capacity for international versions.
AI, Dedicated Buttons, and Enhanced Durability
Both smartphones feature a customizable AI button and a pressure-sensitive camera shutter, paying homage to Hasselblad devices.
In terms of durability, OPPO has raised the bar: the Find X9 models have an IP69 certification, ensuring full protection against dust and high-pressure water jets.
The Find X9 will be available in Titanium Grey, Space Black, and Velvet Red, while the Find X9 Pro offers two refined finishes: Silk White and Titanium Charcoal. The slightly curved back features a large circular camera block reminiscent of the upcoming OnePlus 15, showcasing design similarities within the BBK group.

In China, the announced prices are:
