Alongside its new Vivo X300 and the Vivo Pad 5e tablet, Vivo has unveiled its new wireless earbuds, the Vivo TWS 5 and TWS 5 Hi-Fi. These models succeed the Vivo TWS 4 launched last year, but the brand is making a significant leap in sound quality, battery life, and embedded intelligence.

Vivo TWS 5: An Acoustic Design from a Unique Collaboration

The Vivo TWS 5 Hi-Fi version is the result of a partnership between the Vivo Golden Ear Acoustic Team and the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Acoustic Master Group. The goal: to reproduce every sound nuance with the utmost fidelity, thanks to a manual calibration of the acoustic structure and audio algorithms.

The earbuds feature 11 mm dynamic drivers with second-generation ceramic tungsten diaphragms, capable of covering a range from 16 Hz to 48 kHz.

The result? Deep bass, clear mids, and precise highs — all in a well-balanced sound.

ANC up to 60 dB and Marathon Battery Life

Both models offer active noise cancellation up to 60 dB, with an ultra-wide cutoff band of 5500 Hz. A dual transparency mode and an intelligent adaptive adjustment ensure that filtering intensity is automatically adjusted based on the environment.

In terms of endurance, Vivo claims up to 12 hours of playback without ANC, 6 hours with ANC activated, and up to 48 hours of total battery life with the case (24 hours with ANC).

These figures place the Vivo TWS 5 among the most enduring earbuds in their category.

Hi-Fi, Spatialization, and High-Definition Codecs

The Vivo TWS 5 Hi-Fi adds LDAC and LHDC 5.0 compatibility, with a transmission rate of up to 1.4 Mb/s, ensuring lossless sound reproduction on compatible devices.

Both models integrate a 360° spatialization engine developed by Vivo, which recreates a three-dimensional sound field. Four spatial effect modes are available, ranging from “Studio” to “Immersive Cinema” experience.

Another notable innovation: the Vivo TWS 5 supports real-time translation functionality, combining audio hardware and AI algorithms from Vivo or iQOO smartphones. They can instantly translate English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Thai, and several other languages.

All with an ultra-low latency of 42 ms, ideal for gaming or video conferencing.

Connectivity and Design

The Vivo TWS 5 uses Bluetooth 5.4 LE technology with the BES2710Y audio platform, ensuring a stable and energy-efficient connection. They are IP54 certified, making them resistant to dust and splashes.
