Vivo X300 Pro: The new flagship photo smartphone from Vivo revealed ahead of its official launch
The launch of the Vivo X300 series is just around the corner, set for Monday, October 13, in China, and leaks are already surfacing. Both models, the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro, have recently appeared in China Telecom’s database, along with a confidential presentation slide revealing new technical details.
While the standard model aims for a balance between compactness and performance, the X300 Pro promises to be a true technology showcase designed for high-end mobile photography and demanding users.
Vivo X300 Pro: Sleek Design and Premium Finishes
The Vivo X300 Pro (model reference V2502A) features a simple and elegant design. It measures 161.98 x 75.48 x 7.99 mm and weighs 226 g, and will be available in four colors: Freedom Blue, Simple White, Pure Black, and Wilderness Brown.

The device is equipped with a large 6.78-inch BOE OLED Q10+ display featuring a 1.5K resolution (2800 x 1260 pixels), a 120 Hz refresh rate, and circular polarization for better outdoor visibility.
Under the hood, the Vivo X300 Pro houses the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, produced using the brand’s most advanced manufacturing process. It is powered by a 6,510 mAh battery, compatible with 90 W wired charging and 40 W wireless charging, ensuring quick recharges and excellent daily endurance.
An Exceptional Camera Module by Sony and Samsung

It’s clear that the Vivo X300 Pro aims to excel in photography. On the front, it features a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 camera with a 92° field of view for sharp and bright selfies.
At the back, the camera setup showcases exceptional craftsmanship:
- 200-megapixel Sony LYT-828 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS),
- 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor,
- 200-megapixel Samsung HPB periscope telephoto lens, also optically stabilized.

This setup covers equivalent focal lengths of 24 mm, 50 mm, and 85 mm, offering great versatility—from landscapes to portraits and close-ups.
Vivo includes two proprietary chips: the VS1, dedicated to image pre-processing, and the V3+, responsible for post-processing and final optimization of photos. Moreover, the smartphone will support a Zeiss 2.35× teleconverter sold as an accessory, enabling optical zooms similar to those of a professional camera.
Software, Connectivity, and Advanced Features
The Vivo X300 Pro will operate on Android 16, with the OriginOS 6 interface. Vivo has integrated a suite of technologies to enhance connectivity and overall performance:
- Universal Signal Amplifier 3.0
- Dedicated Digital Amplification Chip
- Four High-Penetration Wi-Fi Chips
- Dual Stereo Speakers
- X-Axis Linear Motor
- Under-Display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor
- Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB 3.2 Gen 1
- Customizable Action Button
- IP68 Certification (water and dust resistance)
A special version called “Vivo X300 Pro Beidou Satellite Communication Edition” is also planned, featuring support for satellite communications—a first for the brand.
Configurations and Availability
The Vivo X300 Pro will be available starting October 17, in several configurations: 12 GB + 256 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB, and 16 GB + 1 TB. The Beidou Satellite Edition will only be offered in a single 16 GB + 1 TB version.
As always before an official launch, these specifications should be taken with caution. However, it seems that Vivo is preparing to launch one of the most ambitious photo smartphones of 2025, combining power, endurance, and optical excellence in a refined design.
