OPPO will unveil the OPPO Pad 5 tablet and the OPPO Watch S on October 16 alongside the Find X9 series
OPPO is preparing to host a major launch event on October 16 in China, where several flagship products will be unveiled: the Find X9 smartphone series, as well as the new OPPO Pad 5 tablet and the OPPO Watch S smartwatch.
These two new devices are already available for pre-order on the official OPPO Shop website and at several partner retailers.
Pre-sale listings have revealed key details regarding their configurations and color options.
OPPO Pad 5: A Powerful and Versatile Tablet
The OPPO Pad 5 will be offered in several memory and storage versions:
- 8 GB + 128 GB
- 8 GB + 256 GB
- 12 GB + 256 GB
- 16 GB + 512 GB
The 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB models will also come in a “Soft Light” edition, featuring anti-reflective screen technology that reduces glare and enhances visual comfort.
The tablet will be available in three finishes:
- Lucky Purple (purple),
- Galaxy (light silver),
- Deep Space Grey (dark grey).
Expected Technical Specifications
According to previous leaks, the OPPO Pad 5 will feature a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 3K resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, ideal for productivity and entertainment. Under the hood, it will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, a high-end chip optimized for performance and energy efficiency.
It is expected to have a massive 10,300 mAh battery with 67 W fast charging, promising extended battery life despite the device’s power.
The tablet will run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. In terms of design, its weight will be around 579 grams, although its thickness is yet to be confirmed.
OPPO Watch S: The Slimmest Watch Ever Designed by the Brand
The OPPO Watch S stands out with its ultra-slim design and lightweight build: weighing only 38 grams with a thickness of about 8 mm, making it the thinnest smartwatch ever created by OPPO.
It will be powered by a dual-core architecture featuring:
- the Snapdragon W5, dedicated to performance and connectivity,
- and the BES2800 chip, optimized for energy management and health data recording.
This combination is expected to offer excellent battery life and stable data collection.
The watch will include a 200 mAh battery and support eSIM connectivity, allowing users to make calls or use data without a smartphone.
The OPPO Watch S will be available in three stylish colors: Racing Black (black), Dynamic Green (green), and Rhythm Silver (silver).
