Motorola Edge 70: The future ultra-thin smartphone fully unveiled ahead of its launch
Following Apple, Samsung, and a handful of other major players in the industry, Motorola is ready to join the race for ultra-thin smartphones.
The brand had already begun teasing its upcoming model, but a publication error from a retailer has revealed nearly all the specifications for the future Motorola Edge 70.
Motorola Edge 70: Official Launch Scheduled for November 5, 2025
Motorola has confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 will be officially unveiled on November 5, 2025. However, a product sheet that appeared accidentally on X-Com’s website has already revealed essential details about this extremely sleek smartphone.
The Motorola Edge 70 will feature a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone is only 6 mm thick and weighs around 170 grams — a size that places it among the thinnest devices on the market, just behind the iPhone Air and Galaxy S25 Edge.
Despite its extreme thinness, Motorola seems to have struck the right balance between design and battery life, a compromise that is often challenging to achieve in this category.
Performance and Battery

Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 70 will pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. In terms of battery life, this smartphone will include a 4,800 mAh battery, supporting 68 W wired fast charging and 15 W wireless charging.
This impressive choice for such a slim device makes only minimal sacrifices to deliver balanced battery life and performance.
Camera and AI Features
On the rear, the Motorola Edge 70 features a dual-camera system with 50 megapixels, including optical image stabilization (OIS), while the front camera also boasts 50 megapixels — a premium setup aimed at high-resolution photography.
Motorola is also introducing a dedicated artificial intelligence button, which will likely allow quick access to AI-assisted functions, similar to what is already offered by Samsung and Google.
Software, Finishes, and Other Details

The Motorola Edge 70 will run on Android 16 out of the box, with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty announced. It will be available in several colors, including a version with a vegan leather finish for a more elegant and premium feel.
No official information has yet been released regarding pricing or global availability, but these details are expected to be revealed during the event on November 5.
