Honor Magic 8 Pro: An Elegant Design and Powerful Camera Unveiled Ahead of Launch
The upcoming flagship from Honor, the Magic 8 Pro, has recently appeared in a new white finish just weeks ahead of its official launch scheduled for late October 2025. The images, shared on the Chinese social network Weibo, provide the best glimpse yet of the design of the brand’s new high-end model.
This leak follows last month’s revelation of the standard version of the Magic 8 in a Sky Blue hue.
Honor Magic 8 Pro: A Refined Design and “AiMAGE” Signature
The shared photos showcase a large circular camera module, featuring the “AiMAGE” logo, a hallmark now associated with the latest generation of Honor cameras. The module includes three sensors along with an LED flash, which has been repositioned to the bottom of the circle (compared to the top position on the Magic 7 Pro).
Visually, Honor maintains the strong identity of the Magic series, but with subtle adjustments for a modern appearance. In addition to white, the Magic 8 Pro is expected to be available in black, gold, and sky blue.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5: Guaranteed Power
Under the hood, the Magic 8 Pro is expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, promising up to 20% CPU gains and 23% improved GPU performance compared to the previous generation.
The smartphone may come with options of up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, paired with proprietary Honor chips designed to optimize energy management and network reception.
Photography will remain central to the Magic 8 Pro experience. The triple rear camera setup is anticipated to include a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with a 3.7x optical zoom. This set promises to be formidable against competitors like the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.
A Massive Battery and Ultra-Fast Charging
Another anticipated highlight is a 7,000 mAh battery supported by 120 W wired charging. Honor aims for record longevity for a premium smartphone while ensuring a full charge takes under 25 minutes.
The device is expected to operate on Android 16 with the MagicOS overlay, which will include various AI features and enhancements for multitasking fluidity.
The Front of the Phone Still Under Wraps
The front design has yet to be revealed, but additional leaks are expected in the coming days. An AMOLED LTPO display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, slightly curved at the edges, is anticipated, following the design trends of previous models.
