Red Magic 11 Pro: A gaming smartphone with hybrid water + air cooling
The manufacturer Red Magic appears ready to once again push the boundaries of gaming smartphones. According to a recent rumor, their upcoming flagship model, the Red Magic 11 Pro, may debut a hybrid cooling system combining air and liquid — a first in the mobile world.
As per information shared on Chinese social media, the Red Magic 11 Pro would utilize both an active ventilation system and integrated liquid cooling to dissipate the heat generated by its components.
Under the hood, it is expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm’s most powerful chip to date. Such performance levels naturally generate a lot of heat, especially during extended gaming sessions.
Until now, Red Magic distinguished itself with its miniaturized internal fans, but this hybrid air/liquid system would represent a new milestone in cooling for gaming smartphones.
While technical details remain murky, if the rumor proves accurate, the Red Magic 11 Pro could become the first phone to combine these two technologies within a single chassis.
Red Magic 11 Pro: Extreme Performance Without Overheating
This approach would allow for maintaining maximum performance of the processor without throttling, meaning no automatic reduction in clock speed due to overheating. In simpler terms: stable FPS even in the most demanding games, and improved longevity for the components.
The Red Magic 11 Pro is set to be officially unveiled in China on October 17, 2025. The lineup will likely include two models, including a more advanced Red Magic 11 Pro+.
Previous leaks also mention an under-display front camera, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Towards a New Era of Gaming Smartphones
With its hybrid cooling, notch-less display, and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, the Red Magic 11 Pro is shaping up to be a power monster for mobile gamers.
If it lives up to its promises, it could very well be the most advanced and best-cooled gaming smartphone ever produced.
