Vivo X300 and X300 Pro: Certification in Malaysia Confirms Imminent International Arrival

As the Vivo X300 series is set to be officially revealed on October 13 in China, indications of a global launch are increasing. Following several certifications reported in Asia and Europe, it has now been confirmed that the Vivo X300 Pro has received regulatory approval in Malaysia, signifying a release beyond China in the coming weeks.

The Vivo X300 Pro Approved by SIRIM in Malaysia

According to the SIRIM database (the Malaysian certification authority), the Vivo X300 Pro is listed under model number V2514. This adds to other approvals that have already been obtained, including:

  • The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in Europe,
  • As well as Indonesian authorities TKDN and SDPPI.

On the technical front, the Vivo X300 Pro recently made news on Geekbench, showcasing the inclusion of the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, accompanied by 16 GB of RAM and the Android 16 operating system.

The Standard Vivo X300 Also in Preparation

The Vivo X300, referenced under model number V2515, is following a similar path. It has already been spotted in the Geekbench database, as well as in the databases of BIS (India) and the Indonesian organizations TKDN and SDPPI.

Once again, the specifications highlight the Dimensity 9500, 16 GB of RAM, and Android 16, confirming that even the standard version will offer high performance.

A Showdown Expected with the OPPO Find X9

The OPPO Find X9 and X9 Pro series, anticipated in China on October 16, are expected to utilize the same Dimensity 9500 chip. According to multiple reports, the global launch order may unfold as follows:

  • Vivo X300/X300 Pro: Official launch in China on October 13,
  • OPPO Find X9/X9 Pro: Launch in China on October 16, followed by global rollout at the end of October,
  • Vivo X300/X300 Pro: Arrival in international markets starting in November.

Expected Innovations in Photography

While full details remain confidential, a recent leak highlighted a telephoto converter for the Vivo X300 Pro, suggesting enhanced zoom capabilities and long-distance photography. Vivo may seek to strengthen its positioning against Oppo and Xiaomi, which increasingly emphasize computational photography and specialized sensors.

A Complete Ecosystem to be Unveiled in China

During the Chinese event on October 13, Vivo will not limit itself to smartphones. The following will also be presented:

  • The Vivo Pad 5e,
  • The Vivo Watch GT 2,
  • And the Vivo 5 earphones.

It remains to be seen whether these products will accompany the X300 and X300 Pro in international markets or if they will initially be exclusive to China.

A Global Launch Possible as Early as November?

All indications suggest that Vivo is actively preparing for the international launch of the Vivo X300 series. With its premium design, cutting-edge Dimensity 9500, and Android 16, the lineup is well-equipped to compete with the upcoming flagships from OPPO and Xiaomi.

If the timeline holds, the first markets outside China could welcome the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro as early as November 2025. This timing could prove strategic ahead of the holiday season, as the competition among Android flagships is poised to be particularly fierce.
