San Diego – redIT, the emerging leader in secure, customizable managed connectivity, and data center services, announced today the completion of the second phase of its World Trade Drive data center expansion.

The 88,000-square foot facility in San Diego’s Rancho Bernardo addresses the increased demand for the company’s services and an ongoing commitment to staying ahead of the technological curve.

“We designed the data center with the full understanding that today’s requirements will change over time,” said Mark Barlow, Chief Operating Officer at redIT. “By implementing a modular approach to expansion, we can react properly to the ever-changing market and accommodate advancements in technology.”

Like redIT’s other data centers, the World Trade Drive facility is purpose-built from the ground up to support some of the most demanding IT environments. With multiple carriers on net and a true 2N power infrastructure that leverages two separate 12 kVA utility feeds, redIT provides numerous options for redundancy across the board to ensure clients remain online and available at all times.

“We engineer our facilities to deliver world-class reliability while offering a flexible, customizable suite of data center options,” said Matt Thoene, Managing Director of redIT’s U.S. operations. “Our experienced team is dedicated to helping organizations of all shapes and sizes implement the solution their business requires, no matter how unique.”
