CloudLinux to Exhibit at WorldHostingDays.Global 2013

Web Hosting NewsPrinceton, NJ – Leading shared hosting operating system (OS) developer CloudLinux (, announced today that the company will be in attendance at WorldHostingDays.Global 2013 in Germany, March 19-21. Bringing thousands of people from the web hosting industry together, the event provides an opportunity for CloudLinux to showcase the latest OS developments of the OS, and for hosting companies to discover how CloudLinux can improve their services.

“WorldHostingDays is an incredible event for anyone in the hosting industry,” says Igor Seletskiy, Founder and CEO at CloudLinux. “For hosting providers, the event makes it easy to see what vendors and innovators have been working on, and how the latest developments could be applied to your business. For CloudLinux, the event is a fantastic opportunity to get to know hosting providers and demonstrate how our OS could improve service quality, make performance more consistent, and maximize revenue per server.”

CloudLinux is an OS based on the Linux kernel, overhauled and optimized for the goals of shared hosting providers. Uniquely, CloudLinux deploys shared hosting accounts in Lightweight Virtual Environments (LVEs) that receive a fixed allocation of hardware resources. As a result, hosting providers can effectively eliminate the so-called “bad neighbor” effect, where individual users can monopolize shared hardware power. With CloudLinux in place, shared hosting providers can increase the number of users per server, without compromising on performance. This makes it easier to meet service level agreements, while generating more income from each hardware server. CloudLinux is the first major OS specifically designed for shared hosting services.

“CloudLinux has been developed to give shared hosting companies what they need,” says Seletskiy. “At WorldHostingDays.Global, we look forward to showing visitors at our booth how CloudLinux increases administrative control and, in turn, increases revenue. But the event will also be a good time to show off our latest improvements and developments, including per-package LVE limits, a new MySQL Governor tool, and PHP Selector. It’s exciting to think that, at this type of event, we can demonstrate what our OS can do and – more importantly – talk to hosting companies about how CloudLinux fits with their existing business.”

WorldHostingDays is a series of annual events that bring members of the hosting industry together. Smaller events are hosted all around the world, with WorldHostingDays.Global being the highlight of the calendar and the largest gathering of partners, exhibitors, speakers, and visitors. For 2013, WorldHostingDays.Global will host a trade fair, a conference, and social events at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany. The center of the event is the trade fair, where CloudLinux will be exhibiting as a Gold Partner.

“At the trade fair, we will be on-hand to discuss our solution and our visitors’ businesses,” says Seletskiy. “But there is also a lot we can learn from an event like this. We are looking forward to hearing what shared hosting providers need in an operating system and, if CloudLinux does not already meet the requirement, how we could get there in the future.”

In the past few years, CloudLinux has quickly grown to become a leading choice for web hosting companies. This comes as the result of innovation and a focus on listening to the requirements of shared hosting. At WorldHostingDays.Global 2013, CloudLinux will be on-hand to show visitors what CloudLinux can do along with the opportunity to hear more about what shared hosting providers want in an OS.

CloudLinux will be at Booth D 22 for WorldHostingDays.Global 2013, which takes place March 19-21, 2013, at Europa-Park in Rust, Germany. Learn more about the event at
